Tandberg TCD-330 Dual Capstan 3 Head Recorder, excellent condition. The "Euro Tri-Tracer".
The TCD-330 is a high-quality 3-head recorder whose drive mechanism is strongly reminiscent of the Nakamichi 700. Both, the dual capstan design and the variable azimuth system of the recording head are implemented almost identically. Unlike the Nakamichi 700, however, the reel motors are directly driven. The function keys are already equipped with logic control. At the time quite a futuristic rekorder.
The recording and playback quality of Tandberg recorders is legendary and among the best available in Europe in the 1970s. Even today, the TCD-330 remains a state-of-the-art device that integrates beautifully into typical 1970s audio systems. The classic aluminum, black finish with wood accents from the early 70s pairs perfectly with Thorens, Revox, Dual, and of course, Bang & Olufsen.
The unit has been serviced and cleaned. It comes with a cable set and two tapes, so you can start using it right away. Unfortunately, the original feet are no longer available, but we have reprinted ones that we will include.
